Kayaking Middle of Sydney harbour here is a map of were we Kayak.
It was a early moring start I got up at 450am very hard to do when you just got in at 1130pm the night before from Tweed heads but it was so worth it :)
I went with 4 other friends it was my first time kayaking I was so excited loving doing all the first so this is another one tick off my list :)
We got to the Spit bridge early so we had a look around and got excited ............ We got Adam as our guide he showed us the basic we need to now and cause we were a group of 5 I got paired up with a lady called Jill I sat at the back and done the rudder it took a bit to get use to ............ after a few run ins with other boats ( that were stationary ) I manage to get the Kayak to go were I wanted it to go :)
Off we kayak around The middle part of Sydney harbour it was amazing very breathing taking in some places. Wow I do not now how people can live in some of the houses we saw from the water but I must say looking out on to the harbour and climbing stairs I reckon in most houses a 100 plus steps is worth it :).
I haven't got no on the water shoots as they are on my friends camera which was waterproof but sadly old school came with flim lol lol lol but as soon as I do I will post them. Here are a few land pictures.
When the boats cruise on by the waves from the boat made me sick but thank god I never threw up it did come close :)
We kayak for over 4 hours and manage to do 11kms of kayaking and love every single minute of it. I can't wait to go again :) I'm loving living life and trying new things the world really is your oyster :) I can't wait to see what else there is to do out there. I'm going to do a photo book of all my firsts and this is differently a high light for me :)
I would recommend to any one wanting or thinking about trying kayaking to do it I love it. If you ever come to Sydney for a holiday and want to see some of Sydney hidden treasures go to here and have a look They are great http://www.sydneyharbourkayaks.com.au/
Then after our wonderful time kayaking it was time to get into the car and off we go to Darling harbour after a tour around north Sydney must say very lovely and over the wonderful harbour bridge which will be my next thing to do cause when I saw the people up there walking it I really wanted it to be me but that will come soon enough :) We got to darling harbour for lunch we ate at Nick's Bar & grill which was lovely I would go back there. Here are a few photos from Darling Harbour.
I had a wonderful day with wonderful friends and that night I went to Christmas Carols in the our local park which topped off a great day. Thank you Natty Nath Kerrie & Chris for making this such a wonderful day :)
