Wonderful weekend

I have  finished house sitting  for my wonderful friend  and  there family I really enjoyed being  out  on  my  own and just worrying about  the cat  and  dog. If the  sun will  shine  so  I  could  have  a swim lol lol lol yes I got  to  swim  3 times  and  loved  it :)  I loved having  a  dog  to  walk just walking  around the  local  area. Maybe  I should  move  out with  a  dog. 

I went walking  around  park  central  today with peppa as I wanted  to  do  some hill walking and  really  enjoyed  it.

I start  a  new excerise routine  this  week so  that going  to  be  fun  I will enjoy  doing more crossfit training.

Great day

Wow I was too tired to write  this  last night when I got  here so i held  it  back  till now. I was talking  to  a  friend that nurses and  works with plastic surgeons I think mentally  cause I'm so close  to  having  all my surgery  done that  it  was freaking  me  out having  to  go  back  in multiple  times but  my  friend  was telling  me about how a guy was  in  there having  the same surgery as  I need done  and  they  done  it  all at  the same time. I'm like  that  what  I  want  I now  i will  have  a lot  of  pain but i also now  that  I don't have  to  go in again and the stay in hospital longer but I'm cool with  that. Also have  the  name of another doctor.

Anyone now any good plastic surgeons in Sydney let me  now.

I went swimming today it was lovely  even with it  not being the warmest sydney day.  Having this pool and not using  it just isn't right.

I'm over having  sinus infection it sucks big time. It  can  go away  and  hassle someone  else.

This morning  I  done  my  first cross fit training session  in  a group I really  do  like  it but  I  think  in  time  i  will  go  back  to  having  the  one on  one  PT sessions as i really  like  them. I will  state  here  that  I like out door running  over the treadmill running but  if I had a choice  i would  do neither ha ha ha.

Food: ok

Excerise: Crossfit training (group) Combat Zumba & 2 dog walks and I got to swim  in  the pool for 30 minutes and loved it.

Old bangers dinner

What a great night  out catching  up  with family friends  we always have a great night lots  of  laughs  old stories come  out I must  say  the food was fantastic I will differently be returning back. We are getting together for our xmas one  next  month. Many photos taken but  I won't  share  them  on  here they  will  appear  on  facebook :)

Still loving house sitting even  when  the dog escapes over the fence when I have gone out.

I was brave today I wore my pink singlet top into the gym size 16 very happy :)

Excerise 10kms bike & 2kms rower. Walked the dog.

Thursday

I'm currently house sitting  for  a  friend  while  she  is away. I'm really  enjoying just being  on  my  own. Just  wish  the weather would  warm up so  I could go swimming I have this lovely new pool I can use. I love walking  the  dog each day  my  walks seem to be getting longer and even the cat decided to join  us today it was so cute wish  I took  my  camera with  me. I love this area love  the lake and seeing  the new  area grow. I will take my camera and show  you all this lovely area.

I really would  love  to get another dog either a samoyed  or shih Tzu both are so cute. I think  they  would  be  the best replacement for the treadmill :)

For uni I have  to decide whether i want  to  do primary or special education I'm really missing my  guys  I use to work with. I'm also looking at a photography course  at TAFE. Next I want to  be kept busy. Still not sure if  I  will do it  on campus  or on line. Advantages  to  both.

Food : I have picked. But  main  meals  good.

Excerise: Step & Zumba ( my unco double) Walking the dog 60 minutes Yoga so relaxing.

Unexpected smile :)

I start a new routine next week really looking forward  to it. As my current PT is opening  her  new business so I will be doing early morning workouts no better way to start the day  off. I will be doing  more crossfit training which I really enjoy  and  would encourage anyone  to give  it  a go.  I'm also sticking with my classes I would miss them too much.

I had my last PT session today with a treadmill in  it as I hate running on  them. Today session i promised myself I wouldn't complain and stop and I didn't. I impressed myself.

I must say it did help having two wonderful  girls  next  to  me  both  of  them  had  special needs  and  were  walking  on  the  treadmill and  thru  my training I had  to pop onto  the treadmill and  run 200m and they both  started to  run with  me it  was so special  and boy  did it  help. They don't relaise how  much  they  can  give  to  you. If you ever get the chance give  them  5 minutes and boy  you  get a lot  more  in  return. I hope  that  the  girl  gets  to  loose  her tummy  so she can buy pretty dresses. Those two  girl  made me smile  and made my  day.  I really miss working  with those wonderful  people.

weigh in week 8

I'm excited I lost 3.9kgs (8.58 pounds) this week a total  of 10.7kgs ( 23.54 pounds) lost so far I'm now weighing 110.5kgs (243.1 pounds yeah baby I'm under 250 pounds :) so so so happy ) which is my lowest weight so far on this journey. My lowest for Fernwood was 111kgs.  I have finally kicked the attitude I can't  do  this. As I now  know that  I will  succeed  and that excites  me but terrifies me  as well. 

But I'm looking forward to whats ahead as  I really  now believe  which  I have  never  believe that  I truly deserve  to be  happy in all areas of  my  life. It's time to build my career I want and I now  I will  make  a great teacher :)  and to  finally allow love  in  my  life :)  weather  my  life  here  in  Sydney  or  in Brisbane I have  to trail  the greener  pastures weather they are or not. I'm  looking forward  to  it :)

A quiet day caught  up  with  a family  friend while shopping  I try  on  a size 16 dress and it fitted lovely  every where  but  for  the  belly but  that  will  be  a  problem  area  until  I  have my  surgery.  That  has  really helped  me with believing  in  me  and  completing  this  journey.  I tried  on  size 26 Jean shorts I couldn't  even  do  up  a size  26  when  I  started  my  journey and now  they  are  falling  off  me I  will  take  a  photo and post it.

Size 26 pants I couldn't even do  up  when I started this journey. I wouldn't wear shorts out  in  public at my biggest.

Wednesday

Had  a  lovely  night  out  with  a  great  mate  and  her  family  and  my  mum  we  went  to  a  local  pub  it  was  so  yummy :) 

Food:  has  been  good I did have  a  Mcflurry but  only  had  a quarter  of  it.  All  meals have  been  fresh  and  it  has me feeling  better and feeling great. 

Excerise: Combat  great  class ................... Ab blast great class it a 30 minute killer  class.

Tuesday

Not  a lot  to blog about really.  I have  a lot  going  on  in  my mind but  I'm  not  wanting  to  blog  about  them crazy  hey.

I'm missing  my  family in Tweedheads & Queensland  so much maybe it because  it  my  sister birthday  on Monday I really would  love  to  be  there with  her.

I'm going to set myself a physical challenge to complete next year something at  the moment  I think  is way  off but  I can work towards achieving it It's the tough bloke challenge at  Appin I think it will be  around July the only  thing  that will stop me  is that me having my lower body lift surgery.

Weigh in week 7

I  put  on  this  week I  now  where  I  went  wrong  breads and more  bread  ain't  agreeing  with  me.  I  put  on  1.05kgs.

Food : Good  feeling  better  for  eating  fresh.

Excerise: PT I have gotten fitter :)  .............. Zumba very funny .............. Attack it was a suna but a great class.

Sunday

Went  to Canberra with  mum  Trudy  & Di and  had  a wonderful day.  I was amazed  at  how  the flowers were planted so  well. My favourite garden  was Farmers market  and  the  pink section  was the prettiest. The weather was fantastic I came back with  a sun tan so I got a over  dose of vit D which I am lacking. I enjoyed  walking  the  gardens  areas I was amazed at  the amount  of  people but  hey  it  was such  a prefect day  to  be  out and about. I enjoyed taking  photos which  I truly  love doing. Even got  to  take  some  on  Trudy  camera when  I was  lucky  enough  to  get  a  hold  of  it. While driving to Canberra which  is  about 2 an half  hours  from  my  place I got  to  play  with  an ipad  which has photo booth which  is  so  much fun and it really brought  some  true laughter  to  the drive. I have facebook  most  of  them. Some  where really scary.

It  was a lovely  feeling  to   have  laughter back  in  my  life  I feel that  the  old  Kate  is  back That is great.








Hopefully someone  close  to me  will  now start  to  help  themselves and start  to  take the  right  steps. Ruling things  out.  Cause  I want  you  around for many  years to  come.

Catching up with friends.

Had  a lovely  day  today went to visit my  best friend as there was family  down  from Casino it  was  so  lovely  to see them. They were amazed at  how  much  I have  losted  as  they haven't seen me since  I started this journey..

Wow I relaised today  I only  have 42kgs  to  my  goal  of 71kgs that is pretty exciting. by  the  end  of  this challenge I should  only  have 28.7kgs  to go.  This  has excited :)

Excerise: 2kms rower (500m (4) with 1 minute rest) 10kms bike 1kms treadmill I even ran a few 100m intervals try to  get  my love  of the  treadmill.

Tuesday

I had  a quiet  day but it  was lovely.  Tonight I went shopping with  a  friend and boy oh boy  the christmas decorations have  hit  the stores so it's not far till the  big man in red appears lol lol lol.





But we have agreed between our self that  we will have  a night on frozen fruit tingles they looked so yummy :) it  is the  time  to be  merry.

On facebook a friend posted this picture  it  really  made  me  laugh I related  so well to  it  as I'm  on medication for depression and thank goodness I see the funny  side  to  things  now. Cause when  you  are  seeing  dark things  and thinking  dark  thoughts  to end  it all  the  last  thing  you  want  is  to  be  laughing.  Thru  those  days  I never  thought  I would  see  the  rainbow  enjoy  a  laugh  and  enjoy  the  smaller  things  in  life. But  now I do  my  friendships & family are  the most important  thing to  me.

Week 7 Wegh in

I'm so excited I have finally broken  the 60kgs (132 pounds) weight loss barrier again I now  now  I will hit  the 98kgs (215.6 pounds)  even thou  I am  a little  behind  with  my  weigh ins. Stay tuned they will reached :) I'm now weighing  in at 113.35 kgs ( 249.37 pounds) Yeah I cracked  under the 25o pounds as well :) I start  at 381.7 pounds.

I  will do updated photos hopefully tomorrow when I catch  up  with  a great mate who  can take  them  for  me. Sorry for  the delay :(

I'm loving feeling  the Happy feeling again and I'm loving life and  life loving me to.

Went to  visit a friend in hospital after he  had a knee replacement surgery boy I sure never want  to  have a operation like that the pain your  in ouch ouch ouch.


Brisbane or Tweedheads  here I come .......... I wish.


I have had a very relaxing weekend. I think we might  be heading  up north in 2 weeks I so much  hope so I miss  my family  heaps and really  just want  to  hang out with  them  and  have  one big  huge  family dinner where  there  is non stop chatter laughter  & love around the table. I'm sure  I won't  want to return. It will be  great  to  be  with  my sister for her birthday.

I'm hoping  for great numbers  in tomorrow weigh in it's officially the half point of the challenge :) I'm hoping for a great week as well.

Excerise: 20kms on the bike :) It was over 400 calories. Thanks to watching the wallabies on the tv at least they won 11 to 9 over South Africa. Bring on the Kiwi's.

Had a lovely day went  out tonight  had  great fun meet some wonderful people. I think I will start going  out  a bit more. I really  do like meeting new people. I felt comfortable so I think I will make a bit more of a effort to go  out meet new people. Maybe I could fine love you never now :)

Thursday

Today sucked lol lol lol  I just couldn't think straight  or concentrate on PT but I made it  I thought  I really could have walked away but I keep on saying to myself I'm no quitter so I continue on.  But I am feeling  like a huge failure ( Not with the weightloss ) I will make this goal I know I will. It's something I'm not going to disgust but  one  thing I have learnt is that  I'm stronger for going thru it appericate all that we do have.

Had  a lovely afternoon  hanging  out with  a friend  and  her 3 boys we went  to  the park  my butt now fits  down a  slippery slide to my  pleasure lol lol lol. Had a  ball  at the  park  then  we went  walking around  the park.

Week 6 Weigh in

It's not a great  one I put on 600grams. I'm now 114.9kgs. I know  where  I went  wrong  picking  food and a weekend  of  party  food and cake. Old habits became  the norm  again. I'm a picker  and I need to get away from the table with all the yummy food :)

For this week only  I wish I could weigh in like  this  picture below.

 The  only  person I disappointed  with a  gain  was myself  but mark  my  word  I will be be making  it up over  the next few weeks. Next week I will post 6 week progress photos.

A little information about  the  operations I want to  have next year. That  will be  the completion of  this journey ............ but  for  me I will now I have it under control then  I have to learn  to  maintain  it as I don't want to  be putting the  weight  back  on.

  • Liposuction: Liposuction is a surgical procedure to contour and sculpt various areas of the body by removing unwanted fat. Utilizing highly refined techniques and working off of years of experience sculpting bodies, Dr. Shuster's method is best described as Liposculpture. During a consultation, Dr. Shuster will make recommendations based on the unique features of each patient to achieve the desired result.
  • Abdominoplasty: Commonly referred to as a tummy tuck, this procedure is designed to smooth or flatten the abdominal area. Dr. Shuster achieves this by removing excess fat and skin while tightening the muscles of the abdomen.
  • Lower Body Lift: An extension of an abdominoplasty, a Lower Body Lift follows the bikini line around the entire body. This procedure tightens the soft tissues of the thighs and buttocks while removing excess skin and fat.
  • Arm Lift: An arm lift, or brachioplasty, removes excess skin and soft tissue from the inner aspect of the arm caused by aging or significant weight loss. The result of this procedure is an improved upper arm contour, especially pronounced when the arm is raised.
  • Breast Lift Procedures

    A breast lift can be performed in the hospital or at the outpatient surgery center. Most are performed on an outpatient basis. The surgery is done under anesthesia and takes approximately two and a half hours. There are two approaches which Dr. Shuster utilizes most often. Both techniques result in significantly shorter scars than the older traditional techniques.
  • Concentric: This involves an incision that goes around the areola. Also known as a peri-areolar, or Benelli, mastopexy, this procedure improves the nipple position and breast shape and is most commonly combined with a breast augmentation.
  • Vertical: Also known as a lollipop incision, this type of breast lift involves an incision around the areola and down toward the crease of the breast. This allows for a thorough remodeling of the breast.
Looks  like I will be kayaking on the 10th December 2011 it's not confirm yet but how exciting that will be  one  thing crossed off the vision I'm so excited.

Love Love Love

I was lucky  to  share  my friends wedding day with  her it  was  so  lovely  the couple  looked stunning. The wether started  off shit  but  it actually ended  up being a lovely afternoon  night. We had a view over Wollongong it was lovely.




I ate way to much cake. I'm going fresh foods only  this week. Sugar detox.

Excerise: 2kms rower ( 4 intervals at 500m with a minute rest.)  15kms on the bike.  How could I forget dancing :)

Party Time.

Had a wonderful day celebrating C 11th birthday with my best friend and family. It's always lovely to  be together  a lot  of  laughs and fun times are  had.



I remember when C was born I was dying to get to Casino as he  was the first one I didn't get  to  see when  he was born. But I made it to Casino with in 2 weeks. I love visiting many  times over  the next 5 years while  they  were living away from Sydney.
